Numpy's roots(~) method returns the roots given the coefficients of the polynomial.

# Parameters

1. p | array-like

The coefficients of the polynomial, from highest to lowest degree.

# Return value

A Numpy array that contains the roots of the input polynomial.

# Examples

To find the roots of $x^2-5x+6=0$:

 np.roots([1, -5, 6]) array([3., 2.]) 

This means that the roots are x=3 and x=2, which we know is true since:

\begin{align} x^2-5x+6&=0 \\ (x-3)(x-2)&=0 \\ x&=3,2 \end{align}
