Numpy's gcd(~) method computes the greatest common denominator of the given values.

Parameters

1. x1 | array-like

The first input numbers.

2. x2 | array-like

The second input numbers.

Return value

A Numpy array that holds the greatest common denominator of the given values. If x1 and x2 are scalars, then the return type will also be a scalar.

Examples

np.gcd(12, 20)
4

To compute the greatest common denominator of (12,20) and (15,45):

np.gcd([12, 15], [20, 45])
array([ 4, 15])
