MySQL's MAKETIME(~) method returns a time value based on the provided hour, minute and second.
Parameters
1. hour | number
The hour for the time value.
2. minute | number
The minute for the time value.
3. second | number
The second for the time value. It may contain fractional seconds (microseconds).
Return value
A time value based on the provided hour, minute and second.
Examples
To return a time value:
SELECT MAKETIME(21, 29, 30);
+----------------------+| MAKETIME(21, 29, 30) |+----------------------+| 21:29:30 |+----------------------+
To specify a second argument with a fractional value:
SELECT MAKETIME(21,29,30.500000);
+---------------------------+| MAKETIME(21,29,30.500000) |+---------------------------+| 21:29:30.500000 |+---------------------------+
Note that the returned time value has fractional seconds (the part after .).
