expand_more MySQL's RTRIM(~)
method returns the input string with trailing space characters removed.
Parameters
1. str
| string
The string to remove trailing spaces from.
Return value
The input string with trailing space characters removed.
Examples
To remove trailing spaces from 'hello '
:
SELECT RTRIM('hello ');
+------------------------+| RTRIM('hello ') |+------------------------+| hello |+------------------------+
Although it is hard to see here, the returned string is 'hello'
(no trailing space characters).
