To filter column values using boolean masks, use the Series' loc property:

s = pd.Series([3,4,5])
mask = [True, False, True]
s.loc[mask]
0 3
2 5
dtype: int64

Note that the filtered Series is a new Series, meaning modifying it would not affect the original and vice versa.
