Python's str.lower() method converts all cased characters of a provided string to lowercase.

Parameters

No parameters.

Return value

A string with all cased characters converted to lowercase.

Examples

To convert all cased characters of "Hello World!" to lowercase:

x = "Hello World!"
x.lower()
'hello world!'
