MySQL's SIN(~) method computes the sine of the input value in radians.
Parameters
1. X | radians
A number given in radians.
Return value
The sine of the input number.
Examples
To return sine for π / 2:

                    SELECT SIN(PI() / 2);

            +---------------+| SIN(PI() / 2) |+---------------+|             1 |+---------------+

    To return sine for -π / 2:

                    SELECT SIN(-PI() / 2);

            +----------------+| SIN(-PI() / 2) |+----------------+|             -1 |+----------------+
