Beautiful Soup's replace_with(~)
method replaces a tag or string in an element with the provided tag or string.
Examples
Consider the following HTML document:
my_html = """ <p>Alice</p>"""soup = BeautifulSoup(my_html)
To replace the text "Alice"
with "Bob"
:
<p>Bob</p>
Here, we're tapping into the string
property available to all Tag
objects.
