To save a Pandas DataFrame as a zipped csv, use the to_csv(~) method with compression="gzip":

import pandas as pd
df = pd.DataFrame({"A":[3,4],"B":[5,6]})
df.to_csv("my_file.gzip", compression="gzip")

This will save a file called my_file as a compressed csv in the same directory as this Python script.

It is often good practise to include csv in the file name as well to indicate that this is a compressed csv file:

df.to_csv("my_file.csv.gzip", compression="gzip")
